Another week, another roundup of what’s happening on the internet (or at least in my little corner of it). We’ve got a buzzy NYC restaurant that I FINALLY got into, a cherry blossom wonderland, and 10 great things I ate in Brooklyn. Let’s get into it.
New on the Blog: Is The Corner Store Worth The Hype?
The latest impossible-to-get-into NYC restaurant is The Corner Store—a sleek, modern-meets-retro spot where the food is just as stunning as the space. The hype? Very real. The problem? Getting a reservation. I finally got in (through a friend of a friend, I’m sorry I cannot help you), and let’s just say… I get it. The food? Incredible. The vibes? Immaculate. The price? Either I’ve been living in NYC too long or I’m insane but I didn’t think it was THAT bad for how much food and drinks we had. You’ll have to read my full breakdown for yourself to decide if it’s worth it.
Cherry Blossoms & Bubbly at The Pink Pier
Spring has officially arrived in NYC, and so has the Cherry Blossom Festival at Watermark NY, aka The Pink Pier, running through April 30th. For $17, you get entry and a free glass of bubbly or a mocktail, plus a whole lot of pink aesthetic. But is it worth the visit? I break it down (with plenty of pics) here:
